Thanks for coming to this page to explore a little further.
My name is Lex to everyone but my family, who forget now and then and call me Alexis. I’ve worked in Organisational Development (OD) aligned with Human Resources (HR) for a chunk of my career and as a world class facilitator and trainer for the rest of it. I have made it my business to understand people and have qualifications in the areas of psychology; relating to individual behaviours and group dynamics. There are buckets upon buckets of things that go into making a person what they are e.g. genetics, environment, inherent nature, neurology the list goes on and on. My writings mostly reflect my thoughts on the various component parts and how they piece together, some ramblings and some travel.
I make my living as; A corporate facilitator and trainer delivering interactive, psychology based learning, and providing cultural insight and curative initiatives to Leadership and Service teams. A facilitator of events, ranging from a team strategy day right through to staff conferences and everything in between. A Leadership Coach who plugs into Leadership Teams and give them some real, money where your mouth is, help. A mediator bringing calm, insight and solutions, for everything from spats between individuals, right through to organisational communications and cooperation breakdowns. A Life Coach who practices and teaches meditation and mindfulness to help my clients to deal with the conflicts within their life, and in their battles with themselves. I feel privileged every time someone lets me into their world and trusts me to help them find their way through their challenges.
All of this is backed by education, qualification and certification. Membership of professional bodies and a lifetime of ‘on and off the job’ research and experience. It has been a lifetime of work and study, and I am proud of where it has brought me and the differences I can make. I am genuinely passionate about people and tribes, helping them to stabilise then grow. I live in a mindful way, walking the talk, taking chances and loving life and the people in it.
